faq
common questions about ClawOS, billing, privacy, and what it can do.
Is ClawOS free?
Yes — there's a free tier with 20 AI messages per day, Daily Briefing, and push notifications. The paid subscription ($19.99/mo) unlocks unlimited messages, 100+ integrations, a private file workspace, and your own dedicated cloud container.
What do I need to get started?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later and an email address. That's it for the free tier. For the paid tier, you'll also need an API key from your preferred AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.).
What AI models can I use?
The free tier uses Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite (Google). The paid tier is bring-your-own-model — choose from Claude (Anthropic), GPT-4 (OpenAI), Gemini Pro (Google), and others. You provide your own API key from whichever provider you prefer.
What happens if I cancel?
You drop back to the free tier instantly. No lock-out, no data loss. Your chat history stays visible, your Daily Briefing keeps working, and you can re-subscribe whenever you want.
Is my data private?
Paid subscribers get a dedicated container and private file storage — nobody else shares it. We don't sell your data. Your API key is stored in your private file workspace within your container. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can ClawOS do dangerous things?
Yes — ClawOS is an open-ended AI assistant that can perform real actions on your behalf, including interacting with external services, managing files, and executing tasks. It's a powerful tool and you're responsible for how you use it. We provide it "as is" and strongly recommend reviewing our Terms of Service.
What integrations are available?
Paid subscribers get 100+ integrations through OpenClaw — Telegram, Notion, Google Drive, Spotify, Slack, Gmail, GitHub, Google Calendar, Trello, and many more. New integrations are added regularly.
How do I set up the Daily Briefing?
Tap the + menu in your chat and choose "Daily Briefing." The AI will walk you through picking a news topic and delivery time. You'll get a push notification every day at the time you chose.
Where can I find the full technical documentation?
The complete project docs — architecture, infrastructure, API reference — are at docs.openclaw.ai. We host everything for you.
How do I get help?
Email us at support@spark.ooo. We're a small team in Los Angeles and we read every message.
What data do you collect?
We collect your email (for sign-in), subscription status, message counts, device token (for push notifications), timezone, and your chat messages to enable the service. Paid subscribers' files are stored in a private, per-user directory — this includes any API keys you configure. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell your data, we do not build ad profiles, and we do not use your data for advertising.
Who can see my conversations?
Free tier: Messages are processed through our Supabase Edge Function to Google's Gemini API. Paid tier: Messages go directly between your dedicated container and your chosen AI provider — we do not access or log those conversations. Your chat history is stored in our database to enable the service, but we do not read or analyze it.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Email support@spark.ooo to request full account deletion. We will delete all your data — account info, chat messages, files — within 30 days.
Where is my data stored?
Account data and chat messages are stored in Supabase (Postgres). Paid subscribers' containers run on Azure Kubernetes Service and files are stored on Azure Files. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS.
Does the AI send my data to third parties?
Yes, by design. The free tier sends messages to Google's Gemini API. The paid tier sends messages to whichever AI provider you've configured (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). If you enable integrations (Telegram, Notion, etc.), data flows between your container and those services. You control which integrations you enable, and you're responsible for understanding each service's privacy practices.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled directly through Apple. Open the App Store, go to your account, find your ClawOS subscription in purchase history, and request a refund there. Apple handles all subscription billing and refund processing.
