What does Say hey require?
A Mac running macOS 14 or later. Qwen AI needs Apple silicon (M1 or later) and a separate download of about 2.3 GB. You choose the Messages folder during setup. Contacts access is optional and helps match names.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. Say hey is $19.99 once through the Mac App Store. The local experience does not require a Say hey account.
Does my Messages history leave my Mac?
The core app and local Qwen path keep it on your Mac. Optional outside connections can send the context retrieved for your question to the model you choose. The Privacy page has the exact boundaries.
How do I start over?
Open Say hey Settings, choose Library, then use Reset Say hey. This removes the app’s local index so you can link and import again.
How do refunds work?
Apple handles purchases and refunds for Mac App Store apps. Request a refund through Apple’s purchase-history support flow.
